We had a very important opportunity to present our breakthrough concept of #MI_PBL in a training session organized by Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED). The training was entitled “Virtual Training for School Leaders on Instructional Leadership”.
Dr. Dhanapati Subedi, Associate Dean of KUSOED, was the Chief Guest of the program who offered very inspiring opening remarks and inaugurated the program.
My presentation was entitled “Multiple Intelligences Based Project-Based Learning Practices in Nepalese Classroom” where I talked about the wrong course Nepalese education has taken, and offered the solution through #MI_PBL. I also talked about the challenges of implementing PBL and Multiple Intelligences Theory in Nepal with the countermeasures we have developed and implemented, like BIE Framework of PBL reframed for Nepalese schools, use of Morphological Analysis for Multiple Intelligences Assessment and Profiling, strategic use of MI Theory in different phases of PBL, etc.
On the whole, it was a great experience of sharing our innovation in a training program organized by nation’s best and highly acclaimed university – Kathmandu University. We are grateful to Dr. Dhanapati Subedi, Associate Dean of KUSOED and M.Ed. Scholar Mr. Hari Rayamajhi for inviting us. We are glad that the presentation was highly appreciated by the participants.
